JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary / Objective

Valets are responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and friendly service to patrons utilizing the valet service. Valet Parking Attendants are responsible for performing pre-existing damage inspections, greeting customers, parking and retrieving vehicles, organizing vehicles, managing parking area (directing traffic, delineators, etc.), managing keys, basic car servicing, vacuuming customer vehicles upon request, answering phones, and collecting parking fees.

  1. Welcome all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  2. Assist customers with needs as requested
  3. Must be clean cut
  4. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  5. Communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers as needed
  6. Perform duties that require entering and exiting the driver’s seat of a vehicle
  7. Possess the ability to multi-task

The position has no supervisory responsibilities

Required Education and Experience

  1. Verifiable High School/Trade School Diploma or GED
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older
  3. Must possess a valid Driver’s License with no more than three (3) points
  4. Previous customer service experience preferred
  5. Previous cash handling experience preferred Ability to operate a manual transmission
  6. Ability to pass a background investigation
  7. Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening
